After a successful career in college recruiting for EDS/GM and Ernst & Young, Rod left the human resources and consulting field to pursue his love of real estate.
Through his real estate connections, he accepted an offer as a charter employee to open a new real estate brokerage company, EYA Urban Properties, an affiliate of local builder/developer, Eakin/Youngentob Associates (EYA). During his 5 year tenure, he worked in various sales and management capacities.
After receiving his broker license, he served as managing broker of EYA Urban Properties and as Principal Broker for Urban Pace, builder sales, and marketing. Due to his consulting background and solid foundation and knowledge of brokerage operations, Rod was invited by a private investment group to open a new brokerage, Stages Premier. Within a few short years, Better Homes and Gardens Real Estate invited Rod to open the first real estate franchise office in a major US city on the East Coast.
In his personal life, Rod enjoys a healthy lifestyle with a focus on nutrition and strength training. Travel is his life’s ultimate pleasure especially beach destinations.
